The area of Roero is situated between the Langhe and Monferrato.
Exactly here was born Arneis, an autochthonous vine which, vinified on its own, is fully entitled to a qualification that rightly places it among Piedmont’s rare prized wines as well as among Italy’s best white wines.
SPECIES OF VINE: Arneis.
AREA OF PRODUCTION: hilly zones in Roero.
COLOUR: straw yellow with greenish reflection.
BOUQUET: distinctive, delicate, fresh, with hints of chamomile and honey
TASTE: dry, pleasant, grassy.
AT TABLE: excellent as an aperitif, recommended with light hors d’oeuvres, fish and shellfish.
