LINEA "I FILARI": MOSCATO D'ASTI D.O.C.G.
At harvest time the grapes must be selected and picked by hand, and after a light pressing the must is clarified and filtered and then placed in cold storage. Controlled fermentation in autoclaves allows one to obtain a lively wine that has the characteristic of preserving intact the primary aromas typical of the grape from which it derives.
SPECIES OF VINE: White Moscato.
AREA OF PRODUCTION: some communes in the province of Asti.
BOUQUET: typical of delicately sweet moscato, with aromatic persistence.
TASTE: sweet, with a very agreeable structure.
AT TABLE: it goes well with almost every type of sweet, excellent with fruit,
"cassata" (ice cream with candied fruit), and semifreddo.
