LINEA "I FILARI" BARBERA D'ASTI

It comes from vineyards on hillsides with a perfect exposure to the sun.
During the harvest, the best grapes are selected, and the wine is made in the traditional manner, with a slow maceration. It is bottled the following spring; essential is the period during which the wine remains in the bottle in our cellars at a constant temperature (14 °C.)



ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS

SPECIES OF VINE: Barbera.
AREA OF PRODUCTION: almost the entire province of Asti, with Nizza M. at the centre.
COLOUR: ruby red when young, tending to become pomegranate red with age.
BOUQUET: winy, well-defined and lasting.
TASTE: dry, full-bodied, palatable, becoming more amenable and harmonious with age.
AT TABLE: a generous wine for the whole meal, recommended with roasts, grilled and braised meat dishes, stews, seasoned, soft, and piquant cheeses.
BEST SERVED AT A TEMPERATURE OF: 18-20 °C.

BARET PIEMONTESE

Baret Piemontese, also called Barlet, brings to mind a typical, characteristic wooden wine cask, in the form of a miniature barrel, which was used in the past to transport valuable wine. For this reason, Fratelli Bianco has given the name Baret to this particular line (in 1.5-litre bottles).
