“SABAZIO” DOLCETTO D'ALBA D.O.C.
Alba and its hilly surroundings, bordered by the river Tanaro, are the ideal environment for the practice of viticulture. The Dolcetto vine itself needs these qualities.
Harvesting comes early, in the second half of September; in the following spring the wine is bottled and remains in our cellars at rest for a period of time. Worthy of mention is the name by which we wanted to characterize this product: Sabazio, one of the names by which people in antiquity identified Bacchus, the god of wine.
